SCHOLL Concepts Dirt Eraser Sponge

£2.00

We Say

The SCHOLL Concepts Dirt Eraser Sponge removes ingrained dirt and grime from a wide range of automotive surfaces without any assistance from strong cleaning chemicals (it's designed to be used with just water alone). The unique abrasive micro-structure of the foam cuts away surface contamination with ease, and works particularly well on bare metals and plastic trims, both inside and out. However, it shouldn't be used on bodywork and other high gloss surfaces, as it will inevitably mar them, and it must be used with care on textured plastics, as it may alter their appearance if they are rubbed too vigorously.

Description

The SCHOLL Concepts Dirt Eraser Sponge comprises a block of soft melamine foam. Melamine is a special type of foam with several unique properties, one of which is that it is microscopically abrasive. This means that when it is rubbed over surfaces it acts like an exceptionally fine sandpaper, cutting away surface contamination and ingrained dirt and grime. For automotive use, this makes it perfect for many detailing tasks, including metal polishing and plastic trim cleaning. However, due to its abrasive nature, it isn't suitable for use on bodywork and other high gloss surfaces, as it will almost certainly mar them.

How To Use

Care instructions: (i) moisten with water before use (the sponge should feel damp but not wet, even if you intend to use it in conjunction with another cleaning product, e.g. a metal polish or a trim cleaner); (ii) discard after use (if heavily soiled), or hand wash gently at a low temperature (30°C) using a non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners); (iii) hang up and allow to dry naturally (avoid all sources of heat), and; (iv) store in a dry, dust-free environment while not in use (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
