We Say

The Rupes DA Coarse microfibre pad is designed for use with random orbital polishing machines and when paired with Rupes DA Coarse compound it offers the maximum amount of cut in the Rupes DA range. Because of the extreme level of cut that can be achieved with this combination we would recommend this pad is only used on factory applied paint finishes and that it is not used on freshly applied paint.

The DA Coarse Microfibre pad can also be used on Gear Driven machines, however extra care must be taken to reduce machine speeds and monitor pad and panel temperatures.

Description

The D-A COARSE Extreme Cut Microfiber Pad for Dual Action polishers is specially designed to rapidly remove severe defects, sanding marks, scratches on fully cured or harder paint systems, and flat solid surfaces.

The density and lateral stability of the foam interface, coupled with the specialized microfiber material, means fast cutting for dual-action random orbital and gear-driven orbital tools.

Pair with RUPES D-A Coarse Compound and experience our fastest defect removal for any of our dual-action BigFoot polishing tools.

Pad thickness - 12mm

Recommended for random orbital polishers.

How To Use

DIRECTIONS:

(1) Prime the pad by applying a thin, even layer of compound to the face before first use.
(2) Apply up to a 30/45 second cycle time to an area no larger than 6 times the pad diameter.
(3) Reload the pad with small amounts of compound, typically only a few drops. Over saturating the pad can lead to diminished performance.
(4) Clean pads frequently during use with compressed air, a vacuum or a Rupes Claw Pad Tool to maintain consistant performance.
(5) Use minimum two pads per vehicle, swapping in 15 minute intervals.
(6) After use, clean with warm waterand a mild soap, rinse well to remove residues and air dry.

Best use on factory applied paint, not recommended on fresh paint.

Not recomended for use on Rotary tools.
