We Say
Dr Leather Dye Block is an advanced leather coating that lays down a semi-permanent and completely invisible barrier layer that repels dye transfer and everyday soiling. Although it is suitable for use on all finished leathers, it is particularly effective on lighter coloured upholstery, which is prone to being blighted by dye migration from dark-coloured clothing. Able to withstand mechanical wear for up to six months at a time and virtually impervious to dye ingress, Dr Leather Dye Block is one of those products that pays for itself in terms of the benefits it brings. Moreover, because it eschews siloxane or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) chemistry in favour of functional components that are actually used in leather manufacturing, it fully maintains the original look and feel of modern coated leather. In a word, it's brilliant, and comes highly recommended.

Description
Dr Leather Dye Block is an advanced water-based coating that forms a semi-permanent barrier layer on finished leathers. Developed in Britain, it uses a non-volatile delivery system to lay down a micro-film of special polymers that dries to form a completely transparent, tough, flexible coating that chemically bonds to treated surfaces at the molecular level. Following application, dye and everyday soiling is actively repelled, which helps to prevent stains from forming and ensures that treated leathers remain looking like new. In standardised laboratory tests, Dr Leather Dye Block has been proven to offer excellent resistance to dye transfer and soiling for upwards of six months per application. To ensure optimal performance, treated surfaces should still be cleaned regularly with either Dr Leather Leather Cleaner or Dr Leather Leather Cleaning Wipes.

How To Use
Dr Leather Dye Block should be applied in a warm dry place out of direct sunlight. To protect your skin, we recommend wearing PB Nitrile Gloves during the application process. To achieve the expected performance benefits you must ensure that the surfaces to be treated are spotlessly clean and dry. If any pre-cleaning is required, a dedicated leather cleaner such as Dr Leather Leather Cleaner should be used and the treated surfaces then left to dry naturally. For best results, Dr Leather Dye Block should be sprayed on to a Meguiar's Even Coat Microfiber Applicator Pad and then wiped on evenly before being left to dry naturally for a minimum of 12 hours. On lighter coloured leathers, or those subject to heavy use, you may wish to apply a further coat to ensure that maximum protection is achieved. Any accidental overlap on to adjacent plastic or textile surfaces should be wiped off immediately with a PB Utility Towel.
