Description
Gyeon Q² LeatherShield is an advanced silica-based coating that lays down a completely invisible water and grime repellent barrier layer on leather upholstery. It uses the latest in low volatile content silicon (Si) technology to lay down a film of siloxane polymers that condense rapidly to form a highly flexible SiO2 coating that bonds to leather surfaces at the molecular level. After application, treated surfaces become more wear-resistant and virtually impervious to liquids and grime. In addition, this coating also blocks out harmful UV rays from the sun, and thus helps to prevent the treated leather from fading over time. Gyeon Q² LeatherShield is currently supplied as a pre-packed kit containing either a 50 ml or 100 ml bottle of Gyeon Q² LeatherShield, a Gyeon Q²M Applicator Block, four Gyeon Q²M Applicator Suedes and an instruction booklet.

How To Use
Gyeon Q² LeatherShield should be applied in a warm dry place out of direct sunlight. Users should wear PB Nitrile gloves and a 3M Respirator during the application process (as this product emits strong fumes). In all cases, clean the leather you intend to treat with either Gyeon Q²M LeatherCleaner Mild or Gyeon Q²M LeatherCleaner Strong and allow it to dry fully before continuing. To apply Gyeon Q² LeatherShield, lightly wet one of the supplied Gyeon Q²M Applicator Suedes with product (using the supplied dropping pipette), wrap it around the supplied Gyeon Q²M Applicator Block and then wipe the product on thinly and evenly, using light pressure and overlapping strokes. Once all of the surfaces are treated, leave them to dry naturally for a minimum of four hours before sitting in the car.
